Hackers Launch Major Attack on US Military Labs

Hackers have succeeded in breaking into the computer systems of two of the U.S.’ most important science labs, the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Tennessee and Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.
In what a spokesperson for the Oak Ridge facility described as a “sophisticated cyber attack,” it appears that intruders accessed a database of visitors to the Tennessee lab between 1990 and 2004, which included their social security numbers and dates of birth. Three thousand researchers reportedly visit the lab each year, a who’s who of the science establishment in the U.S.
The attack was described as being conducted through several waves of phishing emails with malicious attachments, starting on Oct. 29. Although not stated, these would presumably have launched Trojans if opened, designed to bypass security systems from within, which raises the likelihood that the attacks were targeted specifically at the lab.

Eclipse Debugging Error : Cannot connect to VM

Recently I had trouble with the Eclipse’s debugger on Linux platform. It was unable to connect with VM & used to display following lines:

ERROR: JDWP Transport dt_socket failed to initialize, TRANSPORT_LOAD(509) ["debugInit.c",L476]
JDWP exit error JVMTI_ERROR_INTERNAL(113): No transports initialized
FATAL ERROR in native method: JDWP No transports initialized, jvmtiError=JVMTI_ERROR_INTERNAL(113)

Specifications:
OS: Fedora Core 6
Eclipse: 3.3

After researching through different forums I found the working solution:
Please add following line to your /etc/hosts file

The research reveals that nearly 10 percent of total Internet users worldwide are suffering from ‘Internet addiction disorder’, a pathological condition that can lead to anxiety and severe depression.

Google uses cell towers to locate users

Previously mobile users with only GPS enables phones could track where they were and what’s in their neighbourhood. But now with “My Location” service in Google Maps, helps people who lack the positioning technology in their phones. This service currently in beta helps users to locate themselves based on their location to nearby cell towers. Even though the result isn’t as accurate as a GPS it works well for users who do not have GPS in their handsets. It works indoors better than GPS, gives out results pretty fast and doesn’t drain out the battery as quickly.
